Will my leather product mark?
Good news! All of our trays, coasters, placemats and tables are heat and water-resistant so are designed to be used. Warm items such as coffee cups and plates of food will not mark your product but items should not be placed onto it straight from the oven. Any spillages can simply be wiped with a wet cloth, and water drips will not leave a mark. If you happen to scratch your leather product then ordinary tan shoe polish can be used to polish the leather up again
Why do the colours of the cowhide vary?
Our cowhide products are made from natural hide and consequently no two are the same. In buying Howat and Hutchinson cowhide you are purchasing a completely unique product! Consequently some of our cowhide pieces will vary slightly from the photo on the website. If you have specific colour requirements then do get in touch with us and we’ll be glad to help.
ORDERS
How will I know that my order has been despatched?
We will send you an email to notifiy that your order is on its way.
How will my order be delivered?
All of our deliveries are made by courier and we promise to despatch your item within 3-5 working days of your order (often sooner!)
Can I give instructions as to where the delivery driver can leave my package?
Yes; please let us know if you would like your order left in a secure place or with a neighbour.
What happens if I’m out when the driver calls?
Our couriers will attempt to deliver your package three times. On the first two occasion a card will be put through your letterbox, normally advising that they will try again the following day. If the third attempt is unsuccessful then the item will be returned to the depot and you will be given a contact number so that you can rearrange delivery.
